Walk-a-thon
Description: Join us @ St. Jude’s School as students enjoy a fun filled afternoon as we raise money for our school.
Help Needed: Organizing and distributing information on the walk, collecting and tracking donations, organizing in-school assembly and coordinating
activities on the day of the actual walk.
Book Fairs
Help Needed: Set-up, clean up and assisting the children during the book fair.
Elf’s Corner
Description: The students of St. Jude School do their Christmas shopping.
Help Needed: Shopping before the event, gift wrapping, set-up and check out on the days of the event.
Breakfast with Santa
Description: Enjoy pancakes and sausage with friends and family. Kids can have their picture taken with Santa and make various crafts.

Golf Tournament
Description: An entire fun filled day and night. The tournament last year was held at Whitney Farms and was followed by appetizers and dinner at the Stone Barn.
Help Needed: Planning, soliciting sponsors, obtaining raffle prizes, organizing reservations, goodie bags. The day of help is needed with auction set-up, check in, drink cart, contests and more…
Meadow Farms Catalog Fund Raising (earn 40% to reduce your annual assessment)
Description: A great new way to reduce your annual assessment. Catalog includes great gift ideas and super values. From gourmet foods, chocolates and flowers, kitchen wares, magazines and wrapping paper, there’s something for everyone.

Description: The family data is collected within the first week of school. This information needs to be updated and reviewed. Typing is to be done on school grounds. A computer and space will be made available.

Library Volunteer
Description: Seeking volunteer parents for various tasks such as cataloging books, reading to the younger children, helping them with their book selections, and other library obligations.

Hospitality Committee
Description: Organize and provide hospitality to guests of the school during open houses and other school related marketing events. This includes after school masses, as well as Take-a-Look Tuesdays from 7:45 – 10:00am starting on September 13, 2011.

Catholic Schools Week
Description: This is the major marketing event for the school.

Description: Help prepare and serve school lunch to the student body.

International Cultural Fair
Description: Take a journey around the world by viewing items from various countries, sampling food and enjoying entertainment. Celebrate and share your heritage.

Playground Monitors
Description: Two parents are needed every full school day (even in inclement weather) to help with recess duty (inside or outdoor) from 10:40 to 11:30am. Volunteers will be coordinated through the room parents so look for your welcome letter from your room parents.

Substitute Teachers
Description: Teaching experience helpful, but must have bachelor’s degree at a minimum

Description: Fun filled day of outdoor activities for the entire school at Wolfe Park
