At St. Jude School, we are committed to enabling all of our students to reach their potential and our students consistently score in the top 10-15% on standardized tests when compared to national averages. In order to meet the unique needs of each of our students, each child in the school has an Individual Academic Plan (IAP). Teachers, in collaboration with parents and students, use the data to set academic and personal goals to help each child succeed.
The academic subjects at St. Jude School consist of
the following:
- English Language Arts
- Literature
- Mathematics (including advanced placement in upper grades)
- Science (including STEM – Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)
- Social Studies
- Spanish
- Religion
The following additional courses are taught to all of our students to increase their exposure
to areas beyond the core academics:
- Art
- Computer
- Library Skills
- Music
- Physical Education
While computer skills are taught in a dedicated class, we embrace the enhancements which technology can bring to the classroom. St. Jude School has cutting edge technology which is incorporated in all classrooms and across all academic areas.
